Cedar Creek is an affluent neighborhood of the city of Olathe, In Johnson County, Kansas. Its population, as of 2006, is 3655. The area includes homes, a golf course and country club. It began construction in the late 1980s, and opened as a lush, affluent suburban retreat in 1992. By 2000, 500 homes had been constructed. There are now 912 homes in Cedar Creek. It is 5 miles from downtown Olathe.
