Went fishing with family today at wilson resorvoir, their was five of us fishing. it had its fast fishing times and also slow fishing times but overall it was pretty good. caught a lot of short wallleye but i think we managed to put about 8 to 10 keeper walleye in the boat and also one good catfish. it was about 20 to 25 mile per hour winds but it was a good chop for drifting which is pretty much how most of the fish were caught using jig and worm. The biggest fish was caught by myself which was a 20" 3 lb walleye. there was also others out on the lake that were also bringing in some walleye, white bass, and small striper.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
