I'm looking for new places to fish in central Kansas. Have been fishing small streams in my area, but all I seem to catch are small catfish. The main fish I go for are catfish. So that's a must have. Not sure on spots around Wilson Lake. So if anyone knows of a place or two that doesn't require a boat to get to, let me know please

sorry my response is so late, but now that September is almost over and getting close to October, Anywhere you want to fish at Wilson will be good going into the fall without a boat. most fish as the water cools will move shallow during the day and throwing silver spoons will produce you all kinds of fish species, walleye, striper, bass, crappie. and yes even catfish. some good areas are hell creek, Minooka, duvall, and around the dam. and also the marina docks for crappie.
